Roles can only be assigned to your individual topics. To do so all you need to do is right click on the topic in your outline and then select properties. Next you should see a “Properties” pane show up to the right of your concept and start frame preview windows. In the “Properties” pane you should see a listing of various properties for the topic including “Roles”. Click in the “Roles” space and you should see an “Ellipsis button” highlight. Click that button and select from which ever Roles you have created or if you still need to create the Role simply click the manage button and it will allow you create more Roles.
